Ryan Afromsky

Los Angeles, CA

In 2007 I started a grilled cheese concept called meltDOWN etc. I had to close the doors in 2009, but created a very popular and noteworthy restaurant. I wrote a children's book which was inspired by my former restaurant and now am looking to put my old grilled cheese concept into a food truck.

    The clock is ticking

We are coming up on 3 weeks left and have a lot of ground to cover. We are starting to get some PR for this project but need anyone and everyone to spread the word. Thank you to all the supporters out there!

Thank you very much Chris! I could park it there if there's space. I know some of the trucks go there now, so I don't see why not! I am looking forward to coming back.

Thanks John. I'm actually from NYC and I think it would do great in the city. I had the restaurant in LA which is why I would be doing it there. Plus there are a lot of restrictions to operate a truck there. I would love to franchise the idea and that was the plan with my old restaurant but thankfully I am partnering up with a food truck company that has the infrastructure to one day spread across the country. Thanks for the comment! Help spread the word!
