Thanks soooo much for ALL of your support and participation in this project.
We have reached our goal of $7500 and when we get the funds in our hands we will have enough to purchase all the remaining lumber, plywood and fixings to build this city.....
The next goal is to raise more funds to be able to BLOW it up and BURN IT......
This will be achieved using fire and pyrotechnic effects the likes of which many of you may not have seen........
now get back to work every one there still is lots to do.....

You guys and girls are MEGA Rock Rock Stars........
We are only a couple of hundred dollars away from our goal and 6 days to go...amazing
We are still constructing the building components with the Staked Tower the next on the construction line...
It will be 40ft high and house the on site leasing agency and citizen ship sign up office....come and check it out
We are also applying the ply wood sheathing to the remaining Pyramid Building wallsMEGATROPOLIS will be built, will be amazing and will be burnt at Burning Man 2010...bring it and tell your friends

We have now started building the Lift Tower. This building will be the tallest and will house a scissor lift that will take MEGAcitizens to the top for a spectacular view of their city 45ft up......sounds like fun huh!?

We have now started the construction process for MEGATROPOLIS and the first building is the Pyramid Tower......
This going to be 40ft high and as you can see even laying down it's BIG!
I will post more photos over the next week as we construct more components
This a lot of fun and will look stunning in the distance on the Playa..........enjoy

Post CommentHey all you Mega Citizens and Enthusiasts. After our success at the Burning Man Desert Art Preview in San Francisco, we are on track to a successful Megatropolis ignition!!
Presently we've set up the pre-playa construction needs here in Sparks N.V. at the BRIBH.
Our Megatropolis Fun-Raiser's are now set up for San Francisco 7/17/2010 at CELLSPACE, check it out http://www.facebook.com/home.php...; and Reno 7/31/2010 at the beloved Broken Spoke, brought to you by the JUB-JUB crew!!We held a very enthusiastic Megatropolis task force meeting yesterday which resulted in everyone being inspired to take this project to the next level of intensity........
Soon we will have opportunity's for inspired Artists, volunteers, and City dwellers to provide their ideas, expressions, and support for this Mega project....
Remember this is YOUR City. The City within a City for Burning Man 2010, built by YOU, BURNED TO THE GROUND by any means necessary!!
