    Shimoni, Kenya

Hello all! I just wanted to let you know that I am home after having an amazing trip to Shimoni, Kenya. I truly cannot thank you all enough for your support. I definitely fell in love with the children I taught, and with the entire village of Shimoni.

I know that I owe many of you letters and postcards, but I had overlooked a few small details about the place I would be staying. I was literally in a "village" which was 3 hours from the closest town. So they don't exactly have A) postcards or B) a post office. :) Oops!

However, I am still going to write letters, send pictures, etc. They will just be sent from the States instead.

Thank you all again for making this possible. I am extremely grateful for each one of you. You can check my blog for some of my experiences, and I'll be writing more blogs in the next few days. http://hipmombrarian.wordpress.com

    Lots of love,

    Megan

    Almost over

    Hello friends,

I know that it's been so long since most of you have pledged your support to Worlds Apart, and I just wanted to assure you that it's almost over. There are three more days until my project ends. I was fortunate enough, because of all of you, to surpass my goal of $2,000 so cards should be charged this week. I never dreamed it would happen as fast as it did!

Just to keep you updated on other news related to this project, I am so happy to announce that some close friends have started planning a fundraiser to further the momentum that was started with my Kickstarter page. The goal is to actually raise more money so I can make a donation to the community school I'll be teaching in.

As always, I'm so in awe of this wonderful, giving, compassionate community that I'm surrounded by. Thank you all so much for all that you do.

    In solidarity,

    Megan
