Posted project update #3Thank you!
Post CommentFamily, Friends, and Fans,
First off, we wanted to offer our sincerest thanks for supporting our Kickstarter campaign. Though we didn't quite make the goal, the company is still pressing on. Your faith in both us and our idea has been hugely impactful; all of you are what keeps us going.
$7,600 was pledged for the project, and although we didn't hit our ambitious $10,000 fundraising goal, we've decided to move forward regardless! Over the past week, we've launched the website at www.nuevostage.com, listed 5 shows, and saw our first band officially book a stage. It's been a wild ride, but it's wonderful to see artists enthusiastically booking venues using the platform.
We apologize for the delay in giving you all the official update. Life has been a bit crazy with the site going live and bands starting to book. But again, we are truly grateful for all your support. We wouldn't be here without you.
Thanks again,
Max & Chris
P.S. For those of you who are new to Kickstarter - the amount you pledged will not be charged to your credit card. You may still see the authorization amount pending on your statement, but that will be removed soon. Let us know if you have any questions! -

Posted project update #2Just 6 days to go!
Post CommentHey all -
There are just 6 days to go in our campaign! With your help we're well over halfway there and now just need one last push. If you can remind supporters of the music community about the project, please remind them that we're about to collectively change the world for emerging artists. We thought you all might like to know that we were recently covered in American Songwriter. We managed to give a shout to longtime friend, Eli Northrup, who will be taking the stage for a December 3rd concert with his band, Pants Velour, that will officially end our Fall concert series.
And what's more. We've got our Fall Concert series scheduled (spaces on reserve, assuming we can finish this Kickstarter campaign strong!). Here it is!
October 24th @ Cafe 939 in Back Bay*
November 1st @ Cafe 939 in Back Bay*
November 8th @ Cafe 939 in Back Bay*
November 16th @ Cafe 939 in Back Bay*
December 3rd @ Cafe 939 in Back Bay - Pants Velour to HeadlineThanks for all your support so far! Just one more push left!

Posted project update #1Thanks for the vote of confidence!
Post CommentThank you backers!
In two days we're almost 7% there. That's great progress! Now it's up to us to spread the word. Hopefully, if we can continue to get the word out - tweet about the campaign, email people, even use good old fashion word of mouth - we'll be able to make this thing happen.
Remember, every dollar counts. It looks like Kickstarter promotes projects based on the number of backers and the number of Facebook likes just as much as it promotes them by dollars raised. So spread the word!
Thanks again,
Max & ChrisPS - To let you know we care, we're including a never before seen image of a gig page from the new site. Coming to an internet near you in mid-august!
