Thanks again to all of our 238 beautiful backers who want to change the world! I just realized that we are the 13th most funded food project in Kickstarter history! And, without showing how ridiculously competitive I can get, I would like to point-out that two of the top twelve are actually publishing projects because they are books (not food), two more are design products for growing marijuana over your kitchen sink (cool, but not food) and one is a another design project that converts a standard shipping container into a place to grow large amounts of marijuana quickly (again, cool. Again, not food). So, the top ten are then actually a teaching kitchen in DC (love it), a mobile education greenhouse (love it), a San Francisco restaurant (who knew that San Francisco was low on restaurants?), 3 breweries (yay beer! Seriously. I love beer.), reinvented microwave popcorn (love it), The Afghan Pepper Company and some other stuff I didn't look at because it came in behind us. Hello top 8! I'm kidding, of course. We are in great company in the top 13 for all time funding because everyone knows that marijuana can be consumed as a food. I'm sure the two cookbooks that raised more than we did have recipes for it and that the restaurant serves it up as a garnish. Who knew that pot smokers were so active on Kickstarter? I hope this doesn't have repercussions for that teaching kitchen...

Post CommentSupporters,
We are so close! The Afghan Pepper Company has about 11 hours to get our final $4K... please pass the link ( http://kck.st/tlDGi2 ) around one more time with a call to action for me, for Afghanistan and for market-based solutions. We can make it!
Thank you for helping,
Matt

Would you consider arranging a local pickup place at a couple different days/times (E St Peet's?) for Yolo County people, as an option to shipping?
Sure thing, Davis. Great idea. Once I've got everything ready to ship, I'll offer the option about a week before I ship things. I could do a similar event in San Francisco if anyone is interested. Just say the word.
