Peace everybody,
The albums will be here soon...and it's been almost a year since some of you pledged for your incentives, which means it's possible that your address has changed!
Please check your incentive information/send me a message and update your address if it's changed, otherwise I can't get you the finished product that we all worked so hard to create.
Also, if you pledged for something and STILL haven't received it, please leave a comment below and we'll get everything figured out for you asap.
The album sounds amazing...can't wait for all of you to hear it.
P.S. I'm in the process of booking shows for album release parties around the US, so if you're interested in bringing me to your city, leave a comment here as well!

It's quite a while ago that I registered the address that the physical version of Melancholy Hopeful should be shipped to. Did I register the address at amazon or somewhere else? I just want to make sure that I got the correct address seeing as I've moved in the previous 6 months.
Can't wait for the music video. Good luck with that.

Post CommentHope everyone's having a good morning, afternoon, evening, and/or night,
As of last week, all of the Melancholy Hopeful Kickstarter incentives have been shipped out. If you haven't received or don't receive your packages by the end of next week, (give or take a few days for non-US residents), please contact me via Kickstarter and I'll do what I can to figure out the problem and get it corrected.
In other news, Melancholy Hopeful is officially complete.
The album is currently being mixed by Seattle hip-hop legend and pioneer, Vitamin D, and will be mastered shortly after. Once this process is finished, the album will be sent out to manufacturers in Taiwan, where everything will come together.
You can expect to see the digital release of the first Melancholy Hopeful single, Don't Hold Your Breath ft. Funky DL, late December--early January. The release will include an instrumental version, an acapella, a remix from Bolo and an instrumental version of the remix. The release will be available via Bandcamp as well as other digital retailers.
Lots to look forward to within the next couple months.

hey marcus i received the Shoshin and ROTF CD's, but still didn't get the Melancholy Hopeful CD (and instrumentals?) and poster. Just wondering if it was a glitch in the postal service or not.

I pledged $40 and received only the autographed copies of revival of the fittest and shoshin but did't get the Melancholy Hopeful cd. Thanks for checking up on us even after a year to see if everyone got it, shows you really care about everyone that has pledged to make this project possible.
