Post CommentWow Only a couple days in and already at 11%! Thank you to everyone who has donated to my project! I've been sending out e-mails to everyone I know, people I watch on Deviantart and to Artist blogs. So far the response has been positive and people seem to be very supportive of this project.
Since I am planning on having these made, I decided I needed to go searching for proper ways to turn them into jewelry. I've seen a lot of artists drill holes into the charms themselves and attach earring hooks/cell straps/necklaces that way but I can't drill holes into their cute little heads!
So after some hunting, I tracked down some GORGEOUS bails that I'll be using instead. They will be attached to the backs of the charms, leaving the art itself smooth and without holes.
I have sent an e-mail to the company that makes these bails and will post a picture once I've received their permission.
