Posted project update #9Final Day - Time to Celebrate!
Today is the final day of our Kickstarter project. It's been a trying 60-day journey (last week has actually been enjoyable), but our assumptions that pushed us to start this project in the beginning held true. We assumed that Mississippi wanted another brewery, and we thought surely that the Jackson area would support a local brewery. You all turned our assumptions into truths - without your support, none of this would be possible. We can't thank you enough.
As we stand here during the final hours, we can proudly state that Mississippi deserves more great beer options that are brewed locally, and we at Lucky Town Brewing Company look forward to filling that void!
We invite you all to join us this evening at the King Edward Bar & Grill so that we can thank you personally. It's from 5-10pm, and everyone is invited to attend. Come listen to live entertainment, meet the founders of Lucky Town Brewing, and celebrate with us!As a token of our appreciation for our supporters, we will be providing a limited supply of FREE BEER for all Kickstarter backers of $25 or more! The King Edward Bar & Grill will be open as well for all food and beverage purchases, and Lumpkin's BBQ will also be serving fresh brisket sandwiches.

Posted project update #6Just One Week Left!
Post CommentWe're heading into the final stretch, and as great as it has been, we are looking forward to complete this 60-day journey! This project has meant much more to us than just raising money. Through Kickstarter, we have met so many wonderful people who love good beer just as much as we do. We have been interviewed by numerous bloggers and reporters from around the US, and we have been approached by countless numbers of locals who want us to locate in their community. It is apparent that other Mississippians want to see us be successful just as much as we do, and that only reassures us that this is what we need to be doing.
As we barrel towards the deadline on March 12, I ask that each and every one of our backers to contact your friends and family and tell them that you pledged to our project, but more importantly tell them why you decided to do so. This project is not only about getting us closer to brewing beer for everyone - it's about creating friendships and stories that will be engrossed in the brewery walls for years to come.
We can not wait to be able to pour all of you a fresh pint of locally brewed beer! You have no idea how excited that makes us, and we will continue to work tirelessly to make that happen sooner rather than later.
