    JUNE 5!

    GREETINGS.

After a considerable amount of writing, rewriting, "editing" (incineration), and "revision" (shredding documents and then attempting to tape them back together), Cover Story is ready. I recently learned* that artists are full of self-loathing and only ever release work into the public because they have handlers who force them to hand it over. With my "inner handler" for guidance, I am finally ready to invite you, generous art lovers, to please take this thing away from me.

Without further ado, here is what Cover Story is going to look like!

    No, too Lauren Conrad-y.

    Too quilty.

    Too torso-y!

    Too indie music video-y!

    JUST RIGHT.

Yup, the bottom one is the real cover, although feel free to share the fake covers around the Internet! Branding is stupid.

So what happens next? Everything. On or before Tuesday, June 5, all book- and/or gift-receiving project supporters who have given me their contact information and photo print preferences and so on (and updated me with new information, if necessary) will receive their gifts and books! Please note: some of you still have not given me your info at all! So double check that you have. E-mail any address and preferences and other notes to:

    ecolville (at) gmail (dot) com

Or send me a message via Kickstarter, if you prefer.

If I don't hear from you, I'll assume that the addresses I have on file are still correct.

On June 19, the book will be available to the public in print form and as an e-book!

Because you have waited one-sixth of the time it took Jonathan Franzen to write Freedom, each supporter will receive A FREE, MYSTERIOUS PRIZE "UPGRADE."

And that's it! Thank you all again for your support and patience.

    Liz

Hi Jade! Weirdly I can't seem to send you a message through here. The book isn't finished yet! I wanted to have the gifts ready for the holidays, but we moved across country about a month ago aaaand we both have this other collaboration whose due date precedes this book's. But thanks for getting in touch; it's high time I posted an update! Probably a little peek at the cover/design. Liz
