Posted project update #14Submitting Lily Look Here to Festivals!
Post CommentHey Everyone:
We apologize for the long delay since our last update. During the previous couple of months, we've been busy in post-production of Lily Look Here and finalizing the last details before submitting the movie to film festivals...a task which we've already begun.
So far, we've entered Lily Look Here into several 2012 film festivals, including SXSW, Sundance and the Santa Barbara Film Festival. There will be more submissions to come (and hopefully some acceptances, too) of which we will keep you all informed. Wish us luck!
Also, for all of you who claimed a reward when you donated to our Kickstarter project, look out for a survey in the coming months soliciting your current mailing addresses. We will need this information in order to send you your gifts.
Thanks again for all of your support and we can't wait to share the completed film with all of you. Keep your fingers crossed for the chance to see Lily Look Here on the big screen in your hometown (or somewhere within driving distance). In the meantime, please share the film (www.lilylookhere.com) with everyone you know. The more people who see it, the better!
Thanks,
Patrick

Thanks to all of you for your support. The teaser hopefully makes good on our promise to share the working process with you as we move towards the film's final edit. And on that note, the short film is nearing completion in the coming weeks and will hopefully will be available for screenings in the summer of this year. Very, very exciting.
We'll be in touch with information on screenings and appearances at upcoming film festivals. Although we are planning to send out DVDs of the film, hopefully all of you will get a chance to check it out on a big screen near you.
Special thanks to Robert D'Antoni (title animation) and Joel Stearne (mix, sound design, and music) for making the teaser a reality.

Posted project update #12Shooting Complete for Lily Look Here!
Post CommentWe are so very happy to inform you that we have completed shooting Lily Look Here! During the week of October 31 in Los Angeles, we came together for several short yet very productive days to bring the script to life, and at the end, we came away with something we are all very, very proud of. Cast, crew and everyone involved did a stellar job and the early footage (and photos from the set below) certainly prove it.
Now that we have the footage, we move into post-production work, such as editing, coloring, and scoring the film. As always, we will continue to keep you informed about the status of the project. Also, please be aware that we will be soon updating our official website, www.lilylookhere.com, to reflect the current progress of the film and to provide info regarding future screenings. All very, very exciting stuff.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your support. Thank you for your time, your attention and, of course, your donations. This would not be happening without you.
Please look below for the images from the shoot . And of course, please feel free to email us if you have any questions or comments. Let us know your thoughts!
Thanks,
Patrick and Shannon -

Posted project update #11Larry Pressman Signs on to Lily Look Here
Post CommentPlus... Full Cast and Crew Details!
As we quickly approach the shoot dates for Lily Look Here (the weekend of October 31, 2010), we are happy to announce that Larry Pressman, long-time film and TV actor and present guest star on AMC’s Mad Men, will be playing the role of Mr. Macalister – the man behind the scenes of the mysterious Magical Fantasy Building Brigade. We are ecstatic that we have such a wonderful talent involved in the project and have no doubt that he and the rest of the cast and crew will truly bring the story to life.
As noted above, we have also nearly established the full cast and crew. Where appropriate, we have added links to their work to go along with the short personal bios below. If you get the chance, we encourage you to get to know them and learn more about those who will be appearing in your film.
Thanks again to everyone who is working so hard to make this creative dream a reality. And thank you to all our backers… we couldn’t do this without you.
