Posted project update #6Problems and Great News!
Post CommentHi everyone.
I have good news and bad news.First the bad: I am in some kind of legal loophole regarding this project. I am an immigrant myself, a legal one though, and it seems using kickstarter to fund an art project might fall in the category of the things I can't do. It isn't very clear, and I have been looking for the answer for a while now (reason why I haven't followed up on this project, I apologize). However, I will be able to do it soon (as I am about to graduate), so I might have to relaunch this project once I clear this situation out.
I apologize! (for the irony too).On the good side, though, if you watch the Colbert Report, you must know that he is asking for artists to submit portraits and the best ones might be featured in his set for a week. Well, one of my submissions made it to the gallery on his website!
Regardless of whether it means something or not, I am really happy to be there.
Here is the link: http://www.comedycentral.com/photo-galleries/colbert-portrait-gallery/16
Thanks and sorry again,

Beautiful! The artwork is delightful! I read it right out of the package. I am glad I decided to jump in and pledge. I would like to know if there is more of the story already available. If there is, how to get it, and if it isn't, when can we expect to see it! Thanks to Jeremy and you for such great work.

Posted project update #2Help make the video for The Immigrant
Anyone wants to help make the video for The Immigrant? I need at least 10 people to answer in video [as short as possible]:
"What do you think is the main reason immigrants come to the US to work?"
"And what do you think the US should do about it?"Please put the clip on youtube and send me the link. I will select the best clips to be included in the video for this project.
Thanks!
