    Will try again

Well, looks like this effort didn't go through so I'll start another project on Kickstarter. As suggested by current backers, I'll focus on further developing the WordPress version. Stay tuned for the link to the new project (if it gets approved)

    Different/More focus?

With a bit over 2 weeks left it looks like the grand ambition of $3200 will not be reached.

I think this mostly comes from the fact that I'm looking for support to branch out into other platforms and users of these platforms don't know about this fund raising effort or don't care to get Tweet Blender.

Thanks to all the supporters so far! Appreciate your help and your support gives me new energy to put into Tweet Blender development.

Question of the day is (well, a few questions really):

    - Should this project be re-purposed to serve the current biggest user base - WordPress platform users? Should I just lower the goal to $500 and use the funding to improve the WordPress plugin?

    - Should this project be focused on just one particular platform (e.g. Joomla! CMS) and have a lower financial goal - e.g. $1K?

Would be great to hear a second opinion as I'm getting tired of arguing with myself over this.

I agree with Simon, Wordpress has more users (at least here in Brazil but it seems that it occurs in most countries) and not a good sollution to synchronize Tweets/WP.

Wordpress for now will be fine by me and I'm sure many many others

Start with a niche - like in your post, something like Jooma has a tremendous following and the community is always willing to help you develop with feedback and beta testing. I am surprised that a WP plug-in didn't do as you expected. Are you not finished? TIP: working with the Open Source community, the hours and sweat go in first, then comes the $$$ cha-ching if you pass the test.

Good luck and I'll support your efforts -
