    Sadness. :( If you restart the project (and I hope you do!), I agree that the video should be less informative and more entertaining — right now, the presentation from the game jam is more engaging than the actual project video, which kinda drags on for too long. I think augmenting the existing video with YELLING INSTEAD OF TALKING, BRIGHT COLORS, and SUPERFLUOUS ENTHUSIASM would already be a big improvement. These are good examples to aspire to: http://www.kickstarter.com/blog/2011-the-videos The thing is, if your video is entertaining enough for people to share on its own merits, more eyeballs will find their way to the project page.

    Oh dang! I normally post the places and times of things on the website http://sjsugamedev.com/, the mailing list isn't as reliable because I always forget it exists. (The website then gets regurgitated to the Facebook page and a the secret Twitter account @sjsugamedev.) I'll try to remember that the mailing list exists this time, though!
