Posted project update #1September Is Here And So Is The Project
I officially started my project this past week, even though funding is not complete. My goal is to cover an entire year, from Sept. 2010 to Sept. 2011.
As many of you know, we had some torrential rain in Central Texas on Tuesday, which also coincided with a mission by the Austin Patriot Guard Riders. While everyone else was trying to stay out of the rain, the PGR held a flag for an hour before the services for Vietnam Veteran Bob Staires and then escorted the family to the burial site at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
