Thanks Leonardo. We're disappointed that we didn't make it, but we're going to keep pressing onward! We'd love to make the art book available by some other means. I'm excited that you were looking forward to it. It's definitely a quality piece. We'd love it if you kept up with our updates either at ascensionwar.com or our FB page, http://www.facebook.com/ascensionwar I can't say enough how much we appreciate your support. Thanks again!

Posted project update #3Update-platform and gameplay info
Post CommentHi everyone,
A lot of the feedback we've been getting has been questions about 1) the platform of Ascension: Incursio and 2) what Ascension is/will be. So here ya go:
1-The current build we have for Ascension: Incursio is for Facebook. However, FB is not our "target platform." We want to deploy to iPlatforms, Android, browser-based systems like Steam, and eventually up to the consoles. Ascension is not a Facebook game, but a game that is playable in Facebook.
2-Ascension is a third/first person space flight shooter. It is aimed at people who used to be or are currently fans of Freespace and Descent or anyone who likes cooperative defense/attack missions and fast paced FPS/Flight games.
I'll be updating the main post to note this update.
Cheers, all!

Posted project update #2Our Game Conference Experience
Post CommentHi everyone,
Digital Roar recently participated in SIEGE (Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo) in Atlanta, GA. It was a great experience and we met some really awesome people, both industry professionals and newly converted Ascension fans :)
I wanted to share this article that was written by John Polson from the indie game website Indie Game Superstar. He sat down with my friend and Ascension's creative director Zach Inks (of our kickstarter promo vid infamy), and I think the article really captures what we're about and what we're trying to do with our game. There's also some interesting comments towards the end about being indie and seeking mentorship and/or funding, which many of our supporters might find interesting.
There's also a cool photo of our booth from the conference!
Here is the link to the article:

it is not obvious that donations are needed at the site. one sentence speaks of it at the very bottom and then the web address needs to link straight to it. i had to copy and paste the address. please update.
