Justin Wilk to score "Hidden Waters" original themes

Filmmaker and composer Justin Wilk, from Ball State University back in my homeland, is currently researching Moroccan music and has confirmed his participation in the film. He will be coming to Morocco in December to record sounds, music and to be inspired by the musical quality of Moroccan Arabic before returning to his lair to compose original theme music for the film.

Check out Justin's ecclectic style here.

    A great start - the 10% mark!

Just a quick note to thank everyone who has donated so far. We're off to a solid start, and are looking forward to starting shooting In the spiring. Also, a reminder that new video material is on its way, that you will be able to follow our progress throughout the pre-production and production phases of the film on both our blog at http://fezfilm.wordpress.com and at The View from Fez, special thanks to Sandy McCutcheon.

    Cheers!

A bit of baraka from Michael Grieve!

Big thanks to the first few backers, who despite the dodgy quality of the first promo video have shown immense faith. The good news is, Michael Grieve from Agence Vu has leant us a camera until ours comes in, which Omar and I will use to give you all more of an idea what the film may look like, and to bring you some voices from the streets of Fez.

Stay tuned, and spread the word.
