Posted project update #6"The Evangelists" now on view in San Francisco
Post CommentDear Backers,
Although I'm late announcing it here, you've probably received news that my solo exhibition The Imagined Chase opened Thursday, March 1 at Frey Norris Contemporary and Modern in San Francisco.
"The Evangelists" animated video projection is now complete and showing Tuesday through Saturday at the gallery. If you'd like to see it as it was intended to be viewed in the space, you can do so anytime before April 28.
In addition, I will be screening The Evangelists and giving a talk on Thursday, March 15 from 6-7pm at Frey Norris. I hope to see you there.
Currently, I am in the studio working on kickstarter rewards packages, so keep an eye on your mailbox in early April as you should be receiving something from me.
Here are some still frames for your viewing pleasure. More updates soon!
Thanks again for your invaluable support.
Josh

Posted project update #3Part 2 of Part 2
Post CommentSorry for any confusion. For mysterious reasons, Kickstarter won't allow two clips in one update, so please note that this animation is by Josh Johnson and that the thumbnail sketches below are for this animation.
Thanks,
Joshua Hagler

Posted project update #2A little taste.
Post CommentDear Supporters,
I'm happy to report that we're making regular progress on "The Evangelists." Two of our four Evangelists, in particular are moving right along. Here is a fantastic early clip by animator Ben Kluewer. Also posted are sketches by animator Josh Johnson.
I have also posted an animation by Josh J. appearing above this update. (I'm not able to post two videos in one update.)
Thanks,
Josh
