Posted project update #1So what do these guitars look like?
Post CommentHere's the Schecter Hellcat VI. Like a Fender Bass VI, it has the scale of a shortscale bass at 30" so the low end is no problem - but with a comfortable neck for 6 string work so baritone lovers can get plenty of play in. I use it for those "The Cure with Flanger" moments, which I feel will come in play a few times on this album:
And here's the 1967 Gretsch Folk acoustic, otherwise known as the Jimmie Rodgers model, or Model 6003. Lots of names for such a little guitar (actually, a mini-jumbo, or Grand Auditorium size). Made in the USA, right at the advent of the Baldwin Era.
Both of these guitars will be pulling their weight for this project, and hopefully will land with some happy pledgers soon after! If not, there's plenty more music to be made with these fellas, they really put out unique sounds.
