@Jason: If you know how to solder, you can build it. If you don't know how to solder, its pretty easy, Id just recommend a bit of practice before hand because the ICs are a little heat sensitive. I don't have a link but I'll be sure to post a photo update with what exactly comes in a Kit tomorrow. . @Gavin: 1.Currently we are using through hole components on perfboard. 2. It will interface to a PC by way of the Arduino's USB port. So, no oscilliscope required. 3. If we reach our goal, everything that we develop will be released under a copyleft license. And the Kits will continue to be developed and improved. 4. Now that we have a working prototype, our next step is cleaning up the board. Through hole soldering so many pieces in close proximity is pretty messy and I'd like the soldering on the final product to be more intuitive

Posted project update #2First update from Maseno, Kenya
Post CommentHello Kickstarters,
I am typing this update from a (very) small cybercafe in Maseno, Kenya. I just wanted to post that we got here safe Saturday afternoon. Started work on sunday and already have completed alot of what we planned to do. We have a pretty good idea of how to fix alot of the hospitals electrical problems. And today we climbed the mountain to take a survey of the water source and we saw a pretty good flow even though it's the dry season. We've got alot more to accomplish before we leave on sunday and I'll try to keep you informed when ever I have some free time.Thank you so much to all current and future backers,
Jacob ShiachP.s. I'm taking a ton of notes, video and pics and will post everything as soon as I am back in country and have access to faster internet.
