Jeff: Nope! I'm pleased to report funding won't be a problem at all, since we so completely overshot our goal.

Hmm, well, there's some justice to what both Penny and Mil are saying in the last panel. It's certainly harder to find good work without a degree; but it can be done. Having *some* college education helps, I think. These days I'm working as an editor/proofreader at an engineering company, which is very suited to my strengths; but it took an awfully long time to find that job, in an office that wasn't too noisy for me (I have auditory processing and concentration issues).
I'm delighted to see that Poorcraft is addressing education, as I've been thinking seriously about returning to college for the last year or so. Now if I could only settle on what I want to study... :)

Ah lovely and wonderful to see you guys plugging along.
Not to cause problems but under the entertainment section you could add seeing plays by volunteering to be an usher. In Chicago the Saints provide this service for many of the medium to large theatres and gladly accept volunteers to come one night and usher for the chance to see the show. Seats are set aside for these people. Many other theatres that don't use the Saints have a similar arrangement internally. Back in school and after several of my friends used this as a way to see shows around the city and found it worthwhile.
So that's my 2 cents, keep up the good work.

Lateness? Are you kidding? If the previews are any evidence, then this is some of the best money I've spent on the internet.

Great! When you do transportation, don't forget carpooling. It's a great way to save money. There are lots of for-profit and not-for-profit groups out there helping to lower the barrier to participation and raise the benefits of carpooling until it becomes a no-brainer.

Looks excellent. Think ill point out on the third panel on the second page it looks like it says "smooth lives" and i wonder if it's supposed to say "smooth lines"

This book is amazing! :D I never knew half that stuff about hangers and general care of clothing, not to mention how to patch a hole or sew a hem X3 I am already planning to buy this book as a present for several friends of mine...

I'm so looking forward to this book! I love the previews - it keeps me in anticipation. I'm planning on buying more once it's available to give to friends.

Posted project update #16Big update coming soon!
Hi, everyone! Sorry I haven't been in touch. But until I can post some more infor later tonight, I'll give you guys the run-down.
One hundred pages of Poorcraft are currently completed. This means the book is now, not counting the cover, five-sixths done. Diana is doing a great job.
Copies of Poorcraft WILL definitely be available to people who missed out on the pre-orders! More on that later.
And, finally, if you have moved or otherwise changed address since completion of the pre-order project, We'll be taking care of that when the finished books arrive.
ETA until copies in hand? Oh, I'd give it two months, maybe three.
We're almost there. :D Thanks for understanding, everyone!

This is a really important work you are creating, given the current political climate. 98% of the country is poorer than ever before, while CEOs rake it in and send our $$ overseas. I hope you can get some media coverage of the book when it is released!

Sorry, it was part of the $250-and-up pledge packages during the original Kickstart! The window for buying cameos is closed. :C
