Nice work, I've been researching the birth of improv as a performance medium for the past 5 years and am showing that in my own kickstarter project, a SAG New Media Experimental Multi Media Tribute show about the life of John Belushi.

Posted project update #11The Outstanding Gary Austin
Interviewing Gary Austin for "Improv Legends" was such an honor. He founded The Groundlings and is an exceptional improvisation teacher, writer, and director. In addition, he worked directly with The Committee and Del Close.
Gary graciously spent over an hour with us sharing stories from his past and insights into the work. One of our favorite stories was the first time he met Del Close and we would like to share this clip with you.
We will continue to post clips and backer-exclusive clips every day this week as we hope to reach our goal. We are 70% there and have a week left to go.
Thank you for your support.

Gary Austin on February 5
In 1970, when I was performing with The Committee in San Francisco, Valerie Harper said to me after a show, "I love your work." It was the first and only time I ever met her. I have seen Valerie's work and I've heard the stories of her adventures in this special improvisational world we live in.
I return the compliment forty-two years later.
Hi Valerie. I love your work.
Gary Austin

Posted project update #8The Amazing Keegan-Michael Key
Post CommentKeegan-Michael Key was without a doubt our most energetic Improv Legends guests. The former MADtv star spoke with us for nearly two hours at his home in Los Angeles, and at times, it was a challenge to keep him in frame!
This passionate improviser shared stories about his time at Second City - Chicago, advice for beginning improvisors, and a fascinating comparison of improv to sports.
Keegan can now be seen on the Comedy Central show "Key & Peele". We hope you enjoy this clip of Keegan-Michael Key's Improv Legends interview.
We'll be posting more clips in the last few days of our Kickstarter campaign. Thank you so much to those of you who have supported us already - please continue to spread the word so we can reach our goal.
Thank you,
Marc & Joel -
