Post CommentHello To My People,
I wanted to fill you in on the happenings around here. I just got back from tour with mega bog. It was a super sweet and sour, wonder-trip and I am glad to be home. I send out everything to the mastering and pressing plants. The album is being mastered by Aardvark, and pressed by Gotta Groove Records. I did a bunch of research amongst friends that put out records to find out who is the best for awesome sounding, small run, independent LP's and everything is going smooth so far. These should be done in early January.
Iji will be going on tour in Febuary on the west coast playing and slinging the record. We will be traveling with fresh phoenix jammer Tom Filardo as the band Filardo and the iji band will probably feature some awesome special guest members. I will post a schedule soon.

Project is done and I am shopping around for the right record pressing plant. I am thinking about using Gotta Groove. If anyone has any insights or suggestion that would be cool!
Did you get your MP3 download? Sorry if it wasn't clear enough, there is a link in update #3. I will probably send another link sometime in the future with a more final master.
I am still on tour with Mega Bog for another month so you might not hear from me much. As soon as I get back (thanksgiving day) I am gonna rage on some prize packages though so get ready.

I don't know what to say. This is such an awesome surprise! THANKS EVERYBODY FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN! Sorry for harassing you by constantly posting links all over the internet, but thank you for constantly reminding me that it's ok. Your support is unbelievable!!!!!!
If anybody you know wanted to order one of the options but didn't get a chance you still can, but I will be mellowing out on the ultra promotion and just meditate on getting this project done. The ideal plan has this thing on my door step in January after all of the vinyl mastering, art printing, test pressing, and big shipping. It's a long process but I am gonna rage it.

Post CommentThere is a lot of awesome hope in me right now that this is going to work out! Thanks so much for being a part of this. I feel pretty weird about asking people for money in this way, but your support has really made me feel like it's a good idea. It's getting down to the last 5 days here and we are about 900 dollars short which seems like a real possible amount to make!
One way to help out if you want to see this project get funded and see your records on your porch in a few months would be to help get the word out. Email your friends. Talk about it, burn the record for friends that might like it.
Another way to make sure that this gets done is increase your bid if it fits within your budget. If you donated 20 or 35 dollars, consider the 50 dollar option to get a the record, mixtape, t-shirt and Lathe Cut of the song Love is Real.
