    The half way point!

    Hi gang,

Sorry for the long waits between posts. It only shows how busy we have been making the dream film come to life. We have been shooting practically every weekend since January 21st and we'll be shooting well into the summer.

I thought I'd share with you all that we have come a long way thanks for your generous support. If you like to keep up with us on the set we have a few way to connect. Be forwarnded, there will also be plot spoilers and onset "shenanigans" to be seen.

Facebook users: we are "Team Vampariah", a private insiders page for the cast, crew and producers. You are one of us, so send us a request and we'll gladly add you.

also can "like" the facebook pages of "I Don't Care Productions" and "Matthew Abaya" (no spoilers updates)

A website reVAMPing is well over due so keep checking in for update to vampariah.com

It has been rumored that some of the characters from the film have been Tweeting. Maybe Bampinay will let you know whats running through her head or Kilmore (4) will give you his insights to hunting the undead. There are little things to discover on the net if you search for it.

More details to come on our zombie day...
    Many thanks

    Matthew Abaya (HazMadt)

    Saturday Change of Venue

    Hi everyone

Note to those who signed on to be an extra for this weekends shoot:

Hate to break this news, but it looks as if we will need to change the venue for this Saturdays shoot. I know it's only 4 days notice, but something happened that is beyond my control. We're working the details and will post as soon as we get them.

Keep you posted. Also, if anyone has or knows anyone with a club that has a cool vibe for the scene we're making, shoot them our way. Please pass on the word to folks that you have confirmed that we are on standby.

Thanks again for supporting the film. One way or another, the show will go on!

One week away to the start

It's hard to believe that the long journey begins in just one week. Thanks again for all your support. Your contribution to the film has made many miracles happen for this mighty little production. I am also lucky to have an amazing cast and crew on board. Ready to let the aswang fly!

If you are still interested in being an extra please contact our AD Ava Tong: miss_ava@yahoo.com and follow the link for details. http://www.bampinay.com/casting.html

For the producer/contributors who asked to be zombified, you're opportunity is coming up. Please get in touch with me at my email (bampinay@aol.com) about your availability on weekends as that's when we'll be shooting those scenes. If you are an extra in the club scene, you can still be a zombie. Before we shoot there will be a zombie training session. Just so you know, our zombies are a little different then the western zombies seen in a George Romero Film or the Walking Dead. They may be stiff, but they know how to fight.

Extras need for first day of shoot

    Hi all,

The film production is only a month away and I am looking forward to getting things started.  I promised an update where I would fill you in on how to be in the film, so here it is.

The first shoot for Vampariah will be on January 21st at Temple www.templesf.com
For those who would like to be in this scene as an extra or a walk on, please contact the film's Assistant Director Ava Tong: miss_ava@yahoo.com to let her know.

What to expect. The shoot will start a 9:30am and wrap before 6. We will be in the clubs basement room rightfully named “the Catacombs”. We will be entertained by some dark tracks during and between takes by DJ RON!N (DLVN), for those who would like to show off their moves.

How to dress for the scene: In your gothy best. Black is the color and feel free to glam it up with whatever is hiding in your 80s, Japanese Lolita, Victorian or post-apocalyptic closet space.

If you don’t have anything to wear, we’ll help.

Feel free to email us questions and I look forward to seeing you there.

    Production begins January 21st

Some exciting developments in the film's preproduction. We have locked the 4 major roles of the film and the creative team has been hard at work to give the film an amazing look. Looking forward to getting the production rolling.

The first day of production for the film is slated to be Saturday January 21st 9am at the club Temple in SF in the catacombs. muahaha!

    www.templesf.com

For those who wanted to be in the film, we are going to be looking for folks to be in the scene as patrons to a goth club. Be sure to wear black.

There will be some dancing. music and fun to be had in this scene. I will be posting the contact person to be involved in this scene. More details will be coming soon on other chances to be in the film.
