Idgy Dean LIVE Spaceman Music Video + 8/6 RELEASE!!!

    Comrades!

So much exciting news to share...

We started mixing the album at the end of June, and it is sounding SO unbelievably awesome!  One million thank-you's to the incredibly talented engineers at Spaceman Sound who are so diligently committed to this record.

Come the end of the month, Heart & Lung will be handed over to Alan Douches at West West Side Music.  Mr. Douches is ranked as one of the top mastering engineers in the industry worldwide, and his credits will make your jaw drop.

In other exciting news, NEW WEBSITE!!!

In even more exciting news, Idgy Dean's LIVE Spaceman video debuted this week!  Watch and re-post, and check out the other beautiful videos in this amazing series created by amazing artists.

The video's featured song, "Memorial Day," was inspired in major part by August 6th, 2009---the day doctors told Ziggy Gurnick, my late great friend, he only had two months left to live.  On August 6th, 2011, the record Ziggy inspired me to create will finally make its debut.  My hope is to reclaim this date in the name of life.

Everyone who contributed to this cause is privy to a first listen.  The record will go live online at midnight.  Those of you who pitched in will receive a personal promo code to redeem your free digital download of the album 24-hours in advance.  A few weeks after the online release (tentative date: Thursday, August 18th) there's going to be an epic record release party here in New York (venue TBA, stage to be shared with the astonishing talent of Jenatari, all of you: cordially invited).

In the meantime, the money has run completely dry.  Still, the momentum of this endeavor is so enormous that I can't quit.  Your ongoing support is invaluable, so please continue to aid this project... buy a limited edition T-Shirt for yourself or for a friend, purchase my first release, OK Cadavers!, or if you're able to, contact me personally to discuss making an additional donation.

Grateful and bursting... Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

    FRIDAY 5/20 - MERCH PARTY @ SOUTHPAW!

    Loyal Backers!

I am on the final stretch to finishing this new record...

I only have a session or two left of recording, and then the mixing begins, and then the mastering, and then the printing and promotion and gift giving to you generous folks and so on and so forth.  If all goes according to plan, this thing should be finished come July 6th.

Only trouble is, my Kickstarter piggy bank is nearly empty.  The solution?  Good old-fashioned high school era T-SHIRT SALE!!!

Next Friday, May 20th, I'll be taking my favorite stage in all of New York to play a few tunes and debut A LIMITED EDITION IDGY DEAN HEART & LUNG FASHION FIERCE T-SHIRT!

Also for sale, fancy shiny shrink-wrapped copies of my first release, OK Cadavers!

So if you are in the area, come on over to Park Slope, Brooklyn and get your first pick of this brand new merchandise... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvmZ9SPcTzU)
