Oh Liz, I must tell you something. The number 13 is not bad luck whatsoever; that is a patriarchal stereotype. The number 13 is actually good luck, especially for woman and those who live/garden/farm by the cycles of the moon. There are 13 moons in the lunar year. Tonight is the 13th - a blue moon the second this December. It's also the first on New Year's Eve in 19 years. We won't have another on New Year's Eve for another 19 years - the moon re-cycles every 19 years. So not only is 13 not a number of bad luck; it, along with the number 19, are very sacred numbers for those of us who live with the cycles of the earth and the moon and the ocean and well-you-get-the-point. Never, ever be afraid of the number 13, especially the day Friday the 13th which is a sacred day for the Goddess Freya. On that day you may make any wish you want and it will come true if your intent is pure, loving, and clear. The same can be said for The Blue Moon! So have a blessed New Year and say "Hello" and "Thank you" for the $6200 that is coming your way, because it is already so. You've put the intent out there and made it so. As I've said before, lady, you rock. Warmly, Marirose (Concord, NH)
