Posted project update #5We Made It - Truly A Promising New Year for ArtUp in 2012!
Hello backers and supporters,
We are happy to let you know your active and generous efforts have allowed us to make our goal as of 9:30am this morning! We look forward to celebrating this achievement with our backers at Ellabess this January.
This overwhelming support shows that we are all involved in making a positive impact in the Lower East Side. Your altruism from $1-$1,000 is an indicator that you realize that we can change with the times -- seeing new opportunities on atypical spaces for new and more art.
With $1,000 more we can secure our second scaffolding bridge project for 2012! We still have 8 hours left in our campaign. If you have yet to donate, every dollar gets us closer to achieve our new goal. If you know anyone who intended to donate but has not, please give them a little nudge.

Posted project update #4Kickstarter features ArtUp in "New Projects Are Stomping For Change"
Post CommentCassie writes, "ArtUp is a program they run that works to transform abandoned urban spaces into street-side galleries. Old construction sites, scaffolding, vacant spots... everything is a medium for artistic expression just waiting to happen! I'd love to see this grow." We are looking to do just that! Thank you to all who have backed our project thus far.
