First off, I’d like to thank all of our generous backers for making pledges here on Kickstarter. It means a great deal to me, the authors and artists involved in the project, and to the people who have been supporting Fantasist Enterprises and me over the years.
We’ve managed to reach a third of the $3,000 goal, but we only have a week left in the campaign. I’m definitely not asking anyone to pledge any additional money, but I would greatly appreciate it if all of you could give one last push this weekend to help spread the word. A couple of emails to friends or family who like to read or appreciate great art—to anyone who has writing aspirations or is a fan of fantasy. Maybe a post on Facebook or MySpace about the Kickstarter and FE. Anything to help get the word out and get us closer to our goal so that we can bring Fantastical Visions V to print as soon as possible.
Also, if you are new to the FE community, I’d like to encourage you to “like” us on Facebook, and sign up for our e-newsletter so that we can keep you up to date on events, new releases, and calls for submissions. If you use Twitter, you can also follow us there.
Finally, I’d like to encourage you to check out the Funky Werepig show on Sunday the 25th at 9:00 PM EST for their interview with author Lawrence C. Connolly who will be talking about his upcoming novel from FE: VIPERS!

FV5 is an illustrated print anthology of 16 fantasy short stories edited by W. H. Horner. Donations will be used to pay the authors' advances.
