Hey guys! Just wanted you all to know that the music video for "Beautiful Ashes" is up. Be sure to click on the following link and help spread the word. http://youtu.be/V9SEAPXezG8 Also change it to the HD setting if your computers can take it. It's just better quality. :) My beautiful sister, Lisa is the lead actress and my niece Grace also was an actress representing Lisa's past self. My good friend Jason also played a key role. Just wanted to let you know that the CD's have arrived! It will take the next few days to stuff all the packages and get them ready, but we should have them in the mail by Friday. :)
To those of you who just got the MP3's only or as part of your package we will be emailing them to you this week as well. So if you feel your emails can not handle that large of files (we will send them one by one) please let us know. As I mentioned before, please do not upload them everywhere or begin burning them for others, these are for backers only. :)
Also, I owe several of you a phone call which I will completely some this week and then the rest next week. If I get your voicemail, I will leave a number that you can call back.
Lastly, we just finished the music video shoot this weekend. You can see pics of the set and extras on my facebook page. Just go to www.facebook.com and search Eowyn Music (it's the one with the "Beautiful Ashes" album cover. And www.eowynmusic.com has several of the songs up now for preview. :)

Posted project update #8Important Update and Website Launch!
Hello to all my backers! :) I just wanted to let you know that "Beautiful Ashes" is offically mixed and mastered and is now at the replication place. They are estimating it will be shipped on Feb. 24'th to us and then when it arrives here, we will then be shipping it to you. It's now about a week behind what I had hoped, but you all will still be getting your packages in early to mid March. :)
I also wanted to let you know that my new website launches tomorrow, Monday the 7th. (around noon) Be sure to go there and click on the "music" tab and scroll down to listen to the title track "Beautiful Ashes". I am doing "New Music Mondays" for the next 10 weeks where I will be revealing a new song a week. You guys will be getting your cds before the entire album is revealed, but I just thought you might want to listen until you do get them.
"Beautiful Ashes" is set to release nationally May 3'rd, but you all will be getting it in March. Please do not go around burning copies for all your friends. I am trusting you guys with this! :) YOU were the backers, so you are the ones getting it early! :) If anyone else is interested in getting the new cd, there is a "pre-order" on the site but those pre-orders will only release about a week early, unlike all of you (the kickstarter backers) who will be getting your packages in March. (a month and half earlier than anyone else).
Lastly there are still several of you who have not given your addresses. Please know that I need to get your addresses in the next few weeks so I can ship your packages when they come in. The following people are who I'm still needing... If you believe you have already sent it, please send it again.

We have actually reserved a room to build our set in, and we had to book it months in advance....so unless something uncontrollable happens, that's the date! :) Oh....and we need to get your phone number. Posted project update #7"Beautiful Ashes" is Almost here! :)
Hey guys! I just wanted to check in with you and let you know that I am officially done in the studio! The album is currently being mixed this week and then next week it will be sent to mastering, and then it is off to press. The replication phase takes about 3 weeks and then about a week to ship it to us. Then we will get together your packages and send them out to you. All of this to say, you should be receiving your packages by early to mid March as stated in my initial timeline. :) So far, we are right on schedule!
For those of you whose package included the video shoot, the date is set for March 5'th. Be sure to let us know if you are still planning to come, and we will make sure that we reserve your hotel. Also, for those who were coming to the cd release party, it is scheduled for May 8th. I will give you location and time as it gets closer. It will be in Nashville /Franklin, TN.
Lastly, be sure to send us your address if you haven't already. There are still several of you who haven't sent it, and we need it to send your package. I will send out a list in a few weeks of those who we still do not have.
Anyways, I'll touch base again in a few weeks. I can't wait for you guys to hear the new music!

Is the date for the video pretty much set in stone? Certain things are obviously not controllable but if I plan around that date I should be ok? I guess this is also my confirmation that I am coming.

I just wanted all of you to know that I put up some studio video footage showing the progress to the new album. I already sent this to my mailing list and then it occured to me that all of you may not be signed up on my mailing list, so I decided to send this to all my backers on kickstarter.
