Posted project update #8With 14 hours to go... WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL!!
YAAAAAAY!!! I've hardly slept since Thursday... but it is so worth it :)
WE did it!!! ... Thanks to YOU!!!
I have to admit there were a few times there when I wasn't sure if we would, but thanks to all 161 backers from all over the world, consisting of my friends, family, CREW, Couchsurfers I've never met and you have all blown my mind with your generosity, understanding, and faith in this project.
The fundraiser was a success and many of the backers attended this gathering!!

Although this is a major milestone in pre-production, really the work is JUST beginning...
Vaccinations - check. Passport photos - check. VISAS - almost check. Parental approval - highly unlikely to be checked - Major flights - CHECK! Booked last week leaving SFO to Bangkok March 30th... and you can continue to follow the ENTIRE journey on my video blog:
Again, I am so grateful for your generosity as official backers on this project!! Expect your rewards, DVDS, credits, posters and all that good stuff in the beginning of 2012 after a few months of post-production in NYC - where I will most likely be based again from September after the shoot!
