Posted project update #13Discs are on the way! My final? update!
Post CommentFolks, I've been working on this project since the summer of 2010 and finally, finally! the CDs and shirts are on their way to YOU! Thank you, thank you, for making this possible.
A couple of quick notes: iTunes and other music databases may take up to 3 weeks to recognize the information on the discs so you may? want to wait to upload the material to your mobile device, or does that even matter? I don't know. The T-shirts are labeled as 'pre-shrunk' but I noticed that mine shrunk a little when I washed it, which was fine because it seemed big when I first put it on. So I think the sizes are accurate, you may want to try yours on before washing/drying so you can avoid the shrink if you don't want it. Anything else? I think that's it.
Attached you'll find a video documenting the final moments of Utility distribution. The postal workers sure were glad to see me! If you're a local Northern New Yorker I've made arrangements with the Easter(or Seder) Bunny to help hide your merchandise near your homes. Look out for another Utility Project coming...in....a year or so? And I'll be doing a proper video for "Ronny Listner is a Bobsledder" in the coming weeks.

Post CommentUPS will be picking up the completed Bouquet CDs from the manufacturer this afternoon so they will be in my hands in a couple of days I believe. PLEASE let me know if your address has changed since you made your pledge. I've got your new address Mr. Escamilla, but everyone else? Please let me know if you've moved. Ok I'll leave you alone now, for a couple days anyway!

Post CommentGreat news, the discs have been replicated and printed and the CD jackets have printed as well. Tomorrow, April 3, the jackets will be folded and glued, the CDs will be loaded and the job will be ready to ship. Provided the Easter Bunny does not hide them from me I predict they will arrive this coming weekend, April 7 perhaps? They will then reach you by April 15 (I suppose). I look forward to sending you the next update which will contain a picture of me gazing (a teary eyed maniac!) upon the bounty of 'Bouquet.' And it's all thanks to you!

Post CommentGreat news, the CD artwork proofs have been approved and the job has been scheduled. They estimate CDs will ship (to me) on April 4. I would guess they'll be in your hands about a week later. April 11? Let's shoot for April 11. I'm very excited to get the merch into your hands! More soon ....(but you knew that).

Post CommentFolks, hello again, and thanks for your patience. Finally I have completed graphics files and they look great! They will be submitted electronically today. The manufacturer will contact me to approve the proofs when they're done prepping the job and then we're off! They tell me I'll have completed discs 10 (business) days after proof approval. So, I do apologize that we're running a little late, but I would hope that you'll have your goods by mid-April. Thanks again, and have a look at the graphics files in the attached video update.

Posted project update #7Tees are in, Master is off, just waiting for graphics
Folks, Please find the attached video of Utili-Tee screen-printing in progress. I have the Tees here, sent the Audio Master off today, and we are all waiting quite impatiently for the CDs to begin production. Our graphics man in LA is doing a fabulous job, it's just taking a little longer than expected. Perhaps the surf is up? He assures me that he will have completed graphics for me THIS WEEK. I'll have a better idea of exactly when you'll see your goods once everything is delivered to the plant in New Jersey. I'm VERY excited about the T's, I think they look AMAZING! I'll get them to you as soon as I have a CD to stuff inside 'em. Thanks again for your support and for your collective (im)patience.
