Post CommentIn case you missed it, we're trying to do something cool for the holiday season -- namely raise some money for veterans organizations. If any of you kind backers have watched gone Elvis and think the film is worth sharing with friends and colleagues, now's the time to do so. If we can hit 1000 or more rentals between now and New Year's Day, we're sending 50% of the after-cost proceeds to the vet organizations listed on the website. All you have to do use the link below on Facebook, Twitter, or email. Response from people who have seen the film has been great, but we want to get more eyes on the film, and we'd love to raise some money for veterans.

As of today, we've launched a mini-promotion for gone Elvis. Between now and New Year's Day, for every rental we sell (once we hit 1000), Adastra Creative will donate 50% of the after-cost proceeds to the independent veterans organizations listed on the Vetlinks page of our site.

Congratulations on your milestones of having screenings and entering contests. Wanted to let you know in our small town of Yankton, SD there is a veteran and his wife who have made a national headline because of several reasons but he had on a helmet that did not protect him from a roadside bomb. Jenny and Corey Briest have been on Oprah, etc. Jenny has helped many a family now with advice and connected them to resources as she is a great advocate now for veterans especially the current war veterans. She has a double education degree in elementary and special education. They have two chldren. A screenwrwiter that has been working on their story, also. Anyway, I know she would like to attend something like this screening but she may be busy etc. She has a blog she kept during her trials with her husband's injury.
