Posted project update #5NATIONAL DISTRIBUTION! - ONLY FIVE DAYS LEFT TO SPREAD THE WORD!
NEW NATIONAL DISTRIBUTION AND EU TOUR ANNOUNCEDTo all of our Familia, Friends and Fans,We can not thank you enough for your pledges and because of your support for this project, Del Castillo for the first time in our career has signed a North American retail distribution deal. The new CD/DVD entitled Infinitas Rapsodias will be distributed through RED/SONY. We could not be more excited then we are right now as it allows our project which you have helped us make, reach retail shelves nationwide.Of course we still have so much more work to do now in order to support this distribution with PR, marketing campaigns and social media promotion. So we still need your support! ONLY FIVE DAYS LEFT!!!We are also thrilled to announce our first 2012 "Infinitas " Tour in Europe starting March 3rd. Please see the link below for all cities and venues. So yes we have a real need to fund the tour! We have ONLY FIVE MORE DAYS to drive our funding further and further.Also our dear friend, Van Levy, is still organizing 3 more house concerts with his mini-kickstarter project in Houston, Dallas and Austin. For helping us reach our goal!!
For those of you who haven't joined the cause...
Only ELEVEN days left to participate in our Kickstarter Project and receive some very unique rewards!! This is our last push towards the finish line!! We are putting together the budget for the CD manufacturing, distribution, promotion, & the 2012 American & European Tour Dates (which will be announced very soon), and every dollar that you have pledged is going to help! If you know anyone who enjoys the music of Del Castillo, please pass on this email and direct them to the Kickstarter link below!! We can't do this without you. We have the best fans in the world!!
We have been extremely busy trying to get this project finished up and can't wait for you to see it!

Dear Friends and Family of Del Castillo,
Hi Everyone! Preston Sullivan Del Castillo's manager jumping on the band site to say this:
First, I would like to wish everyone of you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving and for those outside the US, I hope your having a great week!
What a blessing it truly is to have all of you as part of The Del Castillo Family! You helped them reach their goal of $20,000 in 30 days with the Del Castillo Kickstarter Project. WOW! As of today there is now 26 days left to do some incredible things for the band. It does not stop here. The more we all can encourage our other friends and family to pledge before the deadline will only help Del Castillo with tour support, more PR and marketing, social media build etc... This is a huge endeavor to manufacture CD's in Europe and the US, release and distribute products worldwide and tour to promote them. As we all know it is never cheap! So again thank you so much and let's keep it going until the end! DEC. 19th at 12:07PM CST.

Thank you to everyone who is supporting our Kickstarter Project!! We still have a way to go to reach our goal and beyond. We are currently at 69 backers, 77% funded at $15,606, and ONLY 45 days left to reach our goal and make this CD project possible!! We are definitely looking forward to the House Parties!! Once we reach our goal, it doesn't end though, as you can still back the project until the deadline of December 19th at 12:07 pm and receive the great rewards that are available!!! Many projects on Kickstarter have been funded beyond their goals & we are being inspired by your love and support to keep adding MORE new things to this project such as:
Anna Maria Kaufmann
Adding a NEW song to the project with European Opera Diva Sensation, Anna Maria Kaufmann singing with Del Castillo!! Talk about crossover!!! It's already sounding amazing and we haven't even finished the whole track yet!! Anna Maria is flying in to DC Headquarters to record soon! We are all excited!
Also, if you didn't hear the news off of our Facebook page & newsletter, we are adding THREE COVER SONGS to the CD Project as well, along with videos recording the whole jam session in the studio!! One of the songs has been leaked out, but the other two will be top-secret until the release! -

Posted project update #1THREE MORE SONGS TO BE ADDED TO CD!!
We've just decided to add three of our favorite COVER songs to this CD, as if there won't be enough content, and are very excited about them! We will be tracking them LIVE in the studio and film the whole jam session to add ANOTHER video to this project! Are we crazy? The first person to guess one of the songs that we will be recording will get on the guest list for the next DC show of their choice! We're feeling the love from you and thank you so much for your support! We still have a way to go to reach our goal, but it feels awesome knowing that our fans are behind us! More to come soon! Don't forget to tell your friends and family about our Kickstarter project!

I'm hoping for the song from the "Desperado" movie Morena de mi Corazon or Cancion del Mariachi I think it's called. The others could be the "Godfather" movie theme and maybe Malagueña Salerosa.
