Dorita - The Fairy Queen by michael mclaren
Dorita is a children's book I love to describe as the new school lunch. Life is like a bag of chips, you never know what you might get.

I love it! My only thought is that i wish the chick was more in the palm of Steven's hand. It almost looks line he's squeezing the little bird. Just a thought. Otherwise, it's awesome and I'm super excited!

Posted project update #8Fully Funded
Thank you does not properly convey the gratitude I have for all of you. Thanks to you, the project will move forward.
Just because we are funded doesn't mean the journey is over ... no .. it's just the beginning. Ron and I are currently working on refining the illustrations, and working on the cover. Although we don't expect all the marketing material to be done by end of January, we are still working towards getting you your signed copies long before the book hits the shelves.
Everyone who's reward included a print copy of the book will also receive the PDF prior to the print copy. This means you can see the book before you get your hands on your signed copy. (After all printing takes a little time, right?)
I am using Kickstarter to create survey's to send to all of you that will allow me to collect the information needed to send you your reward as it becomes available. I will probably do this just after the holidays, so there is no rush.
Once again, thank you all, and have a Happy Holiday.
Dan

That may work, and it would be fun for kids to do. I could just do the "peace" symbol, would could have a double meaning, peace for the uneaten animals, and V for vegan, but I was trying to do something a little different. I have a feeling I'm going to look very silly making all kinds of V shapes in the mirror this weekend. LOL Thanks for the idea, keep them coming. Dan

This is why Kickstarter is amazing... Great idea... And thanks from me also David for supporting this project with the super pledge (I think that is the name on the badge... ;))
Love it, awesome!! :)
