Posted project update #12Animatic Preview - Roles for Backers in Project!
Post CommentWe have a couple different characters for backers in our project. Here are some of the parts written:
-Roadie Character: Dave's roadie who takes his guitar from him at the end of the show. His line is "Great show Dave, you were on fire!" Then the guitar bursts into flames and the roadie dashes off stage.
-Obsessive Fan. Dave talks about blood donation. A fan leaps on stage next to him and yells "You can have all my blood Dave!" Dave calmly whistles and a security guard lifts the fan up, removing him/her from stage.
-Cheering Fans: Several fans off stage yell cheers to Dave. There are other speaking parts as well and we are happy to work with you if you have something specific in mind we can write it into the script.

Believe it or not but the end is almost here! December 1st is the end of our Kickstarter campaign but the beginning of another incredible animation event here is Los Angeles! The Animation Breakdown. Post CommentThere's not much I can say after receiving such a terrifying video. Obviously Daniel the Turtle is still being held by the kidnappers and he will not be returned unless our Kickstarter goal is reached. I can not stress enough how much we need your help! His life is on the line!
In all seriousness if Daniel the Turtle is not returned then Supa Pirate Booty Hunt will be through and Steve and I will be devastated.

Post CommentHey guys, Dahveed here. I've been following the career of one of the most amazing designers working in animation- Sean Galloway better know as "Cheeks." He has also been a huge supporter of 'Supa Pirate Booty Hunt.' I had the chance to catch up with him recently at the CTN Animation Expo in Burbank where he helped me spread the word about our Kickstarter campaign and great cause.

Post CommentSteve Sievers here, I found this ransom note on my door step which doesn't make for a very good Thanksgiving. Seems my beloved Daniel the Turtle has been kidnapped...I mean turtle-napped! Please help! If we don't reach our Kickstarter goal by December 1st, Daiel the Turtle will become TURTLE SOUP! Please donate, post on Facebook, tweet this, post on message boards, put on my milk...DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO HELP!

Post CommentDahveed here! I had a chance to catch up with world famous animator Bill Plympton this weekend. He wanted to show his support for our Kickstarter campaign and definitely proved he is a pirate at heart!
And again, thank you for your support! From this point on we will be updating you daily until the end of our campaign. As I previously mentioned our very own Daniel the Turtle has been abducted and will only be returned alive if we reach our goal on this campaign. Our only hope to save both his life (and the lives of many others whose lives will be saved as a result of our project) is to reach our goal. There is no turning back! With your help we know we will succeed!
