We are going forward with the magazine and the first issue will be available June 1st, 2012. We have opened up pre-order on the website for the first issue (and year subscription).

I am sorry to say that we did not meet our funding goal in time. I think if we had a few more weeks, we could have definitely reached our goal. But all is not lost. We have gained a lot of support and interest. And because of this, we are going to try and find other means of funding the first issue. We will post another update once we have sorted out more of the details.

Post CommentWe can still do this. We have passed the 30% milestone, but still have a long way to go.
We have also been gathering content for future issues, including articles on medicinal uses of Sceletium spp, Iboga in addiction therapy, more herbal brewing recipes, and using cannabis against cancer, as well as covering many other subjects.
We need your help spreading the word to help make our funding goal. If we do not make our funding goal, we do not get any of the money pledged.

Posted project update #4Last week to raise funds!
We are down to our last week to raise the rest of the funds. The first issue is going to be packed with content and we have already started lining up articles for the second issue. We need to reach our funding goal to make this happen. If we dont reach our goal, we dont get any money. And then the magazine will probably not happen. So please help spread the word to anyone who might be interested.
We are working on two possible t-shirt designs right now and hope to have them ready in a few days. We will be throwing in an additional, signed by selected authors and the editor, copy of the first issue of the magazine for anyone who pledges more than $35. Anyone pledging more than $100 will receive a Dragibus t-shirt along with their other rewards.

We only have nine days left and still need to raise a lot of funds to reach our goal. We could still use some help spreading the word. Share or like us on facebook, write about us on your blogs, forums, websites, or tell friends.
We have lined up a lot of great articles for the first issue, including an interview with Jerónimo M.M., from The Ayahuasca Project/The Jungle Prescription (The Jungle Prescription tells the story of ayahuasca, a visionary Amazonian brew of indigenous origin and its encounter with the West, as played out through the story of two doctors). Another project that was recently funded through Kickstarter.
