Odessa, TX

I've been making indie games for the last nine years or so now, and have started the difficult process of trying to transition from a freeware hobby to a commercial career. But I know I can do it, because I'm surrounded by a really excellent team and some great opportunities. Wish me luck!

Well I do want to make it a bit more clear how it was cancelled. I did end up making the indiePub submission with the funds, however as I was able to digest the game more I realized that it just probably wouldn't work out as a full title without some major engine retooling, or more likely have someone do a specific engine for gravity. (there was one version of Liquisity 2 that was completely scrapped a few weeks before the competition because the beta testers hated it with a passion...so I had to redo the entire game. And I still felt it didn't quite get there.) I don't want you guys to think I got sidetracked with a lot of projects and left L2 in the dust. But I did become disillusioned with the game after the tepid reception to the indiePub game, and I felt taking some time away from the game might help me to reorganize better. But I feel it's been far too long since you all backed the project that I thought the right thing to do would be refunds, despite the fact that the game still might go forward someday. I don't ever plan on doing another Kickstarter project again, and where this project ended up is 100% my fault. I do apologize again for not coming through in a timely matter, and if you do reconsider getting a refund you can always email me at any time. Thanks again for all your support. -David

Hopefully it was a very good and very learned lesson learned. I don't need a refund myself, keep it for your next game. Sad to see the project didn't come through, though. It might help in the future if you don't even think about any other projects while you work on one that's been fully funded, considering that is was funded. I dunno. Anyway, good luck with the future games.

At this point, i'm content with just leaving it be, however, i am slightly disappointed in the fact that development on your end has been in such dissarray... its been hard to see which project you're working on. an iOS shellblast, oil blue stuff, and it seems that the attention and focus of development has been anywhere BUT L2 :(
As it was said above... maybe next time, when you ask for money, and get it, utilize your time for what is pre-paid for, instead of other projects that may/may not follow through.
        Not angry, just disappointed :(

Liquisity 2 (indiePub edition) now available!

(originally posted on the VG Blog)

I’m happy to announce that a competition version of Liquisity 2 is now available to download!

About two weeks ago I had a public beta of the game, which ended up being a great idea since so many people disliked the game. So, I completely trashed the diamond/ring collecting version of Liquisity 2 and remade it into the game you can play today, which has that ol’ fashioned Liquisity feel. Fire balls out of a water cannon through eighteen levels as you steer your ball into the goal, while dodging spikes and using water jets to your advantage. This version of the game has four types of balls and a unique gameplay feature for the last three levels that I think you’re gonna enjoy.

Anyways, you can watch a gameplay trailer and download the game right here. And please, vote for Liquisity 2 to win the Audience Favorite here. Thanks again for all the support, and I’d love any feedback you might have on the game.

The full version of Liquisity 2 will be available later this year.
