Thanks for the update! It's good to see you're back at it; the short weekly updates sound like a good idea. We'll still be here when they're ready, and until then I enjoy hearing about the project. (I'd comment on the electronics, but I have to just nod and smile instead. :)

I personally don't need the cards before Christmas (or on any timeline), and there might be others like me. When you ask for backer shipping details, maybe you could ask an extra question: "Were these intended as a holiday gift?" Then you can set up whatever your response is (IOU card, expedited shipping, rush order on some decks) without worrying about folks like me who don't mind. :)

(So excited to see this taking shape in front of our very eyes!) When does Hedgering come into play? I don't see it mentioned anywhere but the terms list. Does each player play a card (or cards) based on the previous player's card, or based on the original card for the round? If the latter, who pulls the next card after all players have played or drawn? A suggestion: choose one variation between the draw-once or draw-until-playable, and list the other variation at the end. My 7-year-old rules stickler would have a tough time figuring out the "right way" to play given two equal options like this, but he understands (and enjoys) suggested variations.
