    Mixing

    Happy New Year!

Our album is now in the hands of Jon Evans. Known internationally for his bass playing with Tori Amos, Jon is also a skilled mixing engineer with more than 20 years of experience under his belt. He's been sending us drafts of his work so far, and it sounds AWESOME. We're very grateful to have him working with us, and we're thankful to you all who helped make it happen!

We wish you the best in this year of the dragon. =)

    Thank you.

On behalf of Choose to Find, I'd like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You have provided the funds to help complete this album, and Kickstarter has offered a service that has allowed us to unify those funds. With that comes so much more though. To feel connected to you all, and to feel like we can offer something to the world through music... that is a good feeling. If you gave because you love the music, or see the potential in our music, then that is something that connects us.  If you gave because you are our friends and family, and could care less about what our music actually sounds like, that also connects us. Regardless of the variety of reasons for giving, you gave, and I sincerely thank you for that feeling of connectedness that it has offered. It feels really good. While Max and I are on the opposite side of the globe from most of you, and Colin and Andy are in New England, a feeling of connectedness can be very helpful in relieving homesickness as well. So, once more, THANK YOU!

We're looking forward to watching this unfold, releasing Songs Without Words, and offering the gifts that you selected for your donations. Stay tuned for updates.

    With Love,

    Todd

    One day left!

Well folks, we are down to the wire here. We're a mere 24 hours away from the end of our Kickstarter campaign and thanks to all of you generous backers, we are totally within reach of our goal. Everyone's been asking me, "Is it going to happen?!" My response is always optimistic, because I think there are enough people out there that REALLY want to hear this record. But it's not up to me whether or not we hit our mark - we need more backers! Please help spread the word by sharing our Kickstarter link on Facebook, Twitter and any other means you can. Copy and paste this: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/choosetofind/songs-without-words Thank you so much for your support!

    20 days left

    Hello Friends of C2F,

Thanks again for donating to our Kickstarter project!

With 20 days left to raise funds, we are close to being halfway to our goal. With your help we've raised $1960, which is AWESOME!

Please take a moment to brainstorm a list of friends and family who might be interested in our efforts. You could either send an email to these folks, or simply post this link on your various social media sites, like Facebook. Any and all efforts would be most helpful in reaching our goal of $5000 in less than 3 weeks!

Thank you for believing in this music.

    with love,

    Todd, Colin, Max + Andy

Halfway point, and still a long ways to go....

    Hello Friends,

We're about halfway through the 60 days that have been allotted to raise $5000 through Kickstarter. With our total pledges so far reaching $740, we're not even at 1/5 of our goal. This means that it's time for us to kick this fundraiser into the next gear.

We are soooo grateful for the help that you've given us up to this point. We'd like to ask for more. If it's within your means to donate more, that would be amazing, but here's something that you could do that would require no more $$$: Spread the word. Let everyone know about Choose to Find's music and kickstarter project. Share this link on Facebook regularly: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/choosetofind/songs-without-words

Maybe even include the link in emails to friends and family, letting them know about our music and objective. Any amount of promotion that you help to give the project will strengthen the chances of meeting our goal.

Again, thank you so much for the support you've shown thus far. We can't do this without you.

    with love,

    Todd, Colin, Andy, Max

Kickstarter is launched. Fingers are crossed.

    Hello All,

It has happened. We have reached a financial wall...and are turning towards fundraising efforts in order to finish this second album that we call Songs Without Words. It's been a whopping 3 years of recording basic tracks, re-recording drums, and layering guitars and sounds. We've recorded in a wide variety of studios and basements/attics, and have had a ton of fun along the way. This month we have been playing a Wednesday night residency in Boston, and the spark for this music has been re-ignited as we buckle in to complete what we started back in 2008. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported us up until now, and thank you for visiting our kickstarter project page. Please consider contributing if you're interested in our music, and would like to hear this album sooner than later. =)

    I'll be in touch.
