Coming a bit late, I've got a few questions: (1) can I still get the copy of the plans on how to build it somehow? (2) how cheap can it go, the building, through reducing the voltage or something? (3) what's the current (amperage) the one you've built actually produces? and... (4) what's the minimum (for it to work) and maximum (for safety) values?

I just noted question (1) was answered in the comments, saying it's at least 60 mph up to much faster and altitude around 5000 feets (almost 2 km, highest sky scrappers are at 0.5 km). And question (2) is also mostly covered there already. Sorry for rushing into it. ;)

I actually got many questions that I couldn't find any answer on this project page yet. Let's make it short: 1. How high would you be able to fly and how fast? 2. Since that Hiller there have been many different approaches on building the flying car. What's so different on this one and if it's so good how come it's not on the media and everywhere yet? I'm actually surprised how there's only 26 backers and it has been at least 8 days!

At some point in the past the link "a bunch of ideas" under project home and the blog post ( http://blog.joindiaspora.com/2010/04/27/kickstarter-pitch.html ), which pointed to https://joindiaspora.com/project.html , got broken with a very weird 404! I just wish to read what was on that page. Google's Cache and Internet Web Archive reveals nothing. Reading the kickstarter diaspora home it seems to me that was the most relevant piece of info in the whole project, other than the video. Other than that, good job guys! Now I'd say it's time to try doing what uncle Leo Laporte "advised" and drop out of school for making this work! :)
