Posted project update #2We've made it!
Post CommentWow! We're across the finish line with our goal! I am relieved and excited. Just last week, we still had $4,000 to raise and you swooped in and got us there. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
We're not done yet. We still have 13 hours left in our campaign and any additional money we raise will still go directly to pay the choreographers. If you know someone who meant to pledge but didn't get to it, it's not too late!
Don't forget to "like" FLICfest on Facebook. That way, we can keep you up-to-date on everything FLICfest. https://www.facebook.com/flicfest
I will be in touch soon to gather more information about your rewards.

Posted project update #1Down to the final hours!
Post CommentHellooo wonderful backers!
We are getting so close - just $934 to reach our goal of $5,500. I have to admit that over the weekend I was getting nervous, but you all have renewed my faith. I know we can do it!
You've already pledged (THANK YOU!), but there are plenty of things you can do to help us cross the finish line...
1. If you're a facebook user, please "like" FLICfest. That way, we can publicly thank you and we can keep you up-to-date on FLICfest.
2. Please share our Kickstarter link on your fb wall - someone might join us just because you're so cool! If you tweet, share it there. If you come into contact with people, let them know about FLICfest and how to support it (and get a free ticket)!
3. Manage your pledge. Did you know that you can increase your pledge on Kickstarter? If you're feeling flush, you can up your pledge by a few dollars.
All of the money that we raise in this campaign will go directly to help pay our choreographers. We believe in doing our part to make sure that dance is a sustainable artform and we thank you for supporting us!
We can't wait to welcome you to the performances of FLICfest 2012!
xo

Posted project update #8FLICfest is back in 2012!
Post CommentHowdy from Brooklyn!
You know that the first-ever FLICfest was an incredible success (largely due to all of our Kickstarter backers - that's you!). Now, we're back for a fantastic second year. The dates of this year's festival are January 16-28, 2012. We have a great new lineup of choreographers: Brittany Bailey, Robin Neveu Brown, Company SoGoNo, Carlos A. Cruz-Velazquez, Erica Essner, Niles Ford, Jordan Fuchs, Adrian Jevicki and Run Shayo, Mana Kawamura, Elke Luyten, The Merrymakers, and Keith Thompson.
If you enjoyed backing FLICfest last year, please consider joining us again this year. We're currently coming to the end of a new Kickstarter campaign. We have just 8 more days to reach our $5,500 goal (we're just about 30% there). You could help put us over the edge! For pledges of $30 or more, you'll get to see an evening of FLICfest.
To support FLICfest 2012, follow this link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/catscratchtheatre/flicfest-2012-a-festival-of-independent-choreograp
We thank you for your continued support!
