Posted project update #11WEBSITE LAUNCHED AT LAST!!!
Hi Backers,
Guess what? The website is FINALLY done! You know what this means, right? It means that soon catewhite.com stickers will begin appearing on the signs of panhandlers all over San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, and maybe beyond if I can get that far. This is the fun part, right? Go check it out at www.catewhite.com.
(I wish it were easier to browse the work for sale. You have to click through a few too many windows for my taste, but it seemed there was no way around it with the plug-in we were using.) What do you all think?

Cate,
I have been a long time supporter of you and your work. Congratulations on reaching your Kickstarter match. I've never doubted you- well, almost never. What I am most impressed by is your courage to venture outside the box of conventional marketing of art. I Your original approach was and remains a risky business: you could get mugged , or worse; and your art is out there for the world to see, or not see. You give me courage to get more outside my own box to be a voice in my community for justice. Now that you are launched on your mission, try to find the women who are homeless. Are they faring better or worse than the men you have interviewed? And the children? My hope is that both your art and the lives of the homeless are enriched by your work. Congratulations! Mom!

Posted project update #8How it works
Hi Backers,
I hope you are enjoying the updates. Some of you have asked about when you will receive your schwag. Here's how it works. IF (and only if) I reach my $2000 goal by March 15th, will your pledges be deducted from your bank accounts. After that you can expect an email from me requesting mailing info, link info, and whatever info I need to send you your rewards. We've got less than two weeks to go. There have been a few stragglers over the last couple of weeks to keep hope alive. Remember, if I don't reach the $2000 goal, your pledges will not be deducted from your account and I won't get anything. So, again, if you know of anyone else who might want to donate, please do send them the link, which can be copied right under the video on my main page. Thanks everybody!-
