Posted project update #3Great news!
Well despite our efforts to make our funding goal, I have some great news! The project was noticed by a company called Pyntail, developer of over 100 apps, and they loved it! We have since partnered and the app is going into production. It should be done and available on the Iphone and Ipad fairly soon. Yay!
Unfortunately there will be no Droid version anytime soon. Turns out there is no way to port it over without pretty much starting over. That and the fact that Droid app sales are very low in comparison, so it just doesn't make much sense at this time. But I realize there are those of you who would like to see it on the Droid, so I will try to make that happen down the road if possible.
But I do want to thank you all again for your continued support, and for your willingness to give your hard earned cash to help me with my little app. It really means a lot to me, and you will not be forgotten.
So keep your eyes peeled folks, Wack in the Box should be available before the holidays. Whoo hoo!
Have a beautiful day! And thanks again!
Brian

Posted project update #2It's not over till the little monster screams
Post CommentOk so the Wack Kickstarter project has come to a close, and without reaching our goal. Very unfortunate, but in no way the end of our story. Rest assured that Wack in the Box will be made, one way or another, and sooner than later. We still have many options, some even cheaper than the one we were shooting for. We'll get there!
The good news for you, my backers is, none of you were charged a cent for your generous donations, which I so deeply appreciated. If I only had one supporter who appreciated my work, it would be enough to keep me going as a creator. And I had 30 people back this project. For that I am very grateful. So a huge thank you to you all, for your support, and your belief in me. I hope you will continue to do so, while I figure out the next move. Just know that you have my promise, which I have already made to myself, that Wack in the Box will be made, ASAP!
If you still wish to help make Wack a reality, feel free to make a donation on my app site, WackApps.com, by clicking the DONATE button (through PayPal) which can be found at the bottom of the page. Here is a link... http://wackapps.wordpress.com/wack-in-the-box/
Thanks again for everything. I won't forget your kindness. I will do what I can to get each of you a "free" code to get the app for free, once it is finally released.
Your friend,

Posted project update #1Now only need to raise $4000 instead of $8000
Post CommentI found an investor who has promised to pledge $4000 if I raise the initial $4000 first. So at the time of this posting, we only need $2976 more! :)
