Posted project update #2We Hit $10,000! Now for the ULTIMATE goal of $15,000!
Post CommentWe officially hit the second goal of $10,000 and still have 14 days to go to hit the REAL goal of $15,000! Now, in addition to the purchase of the new studio equipment, Cassidy has raised funds to get THE LOVERS printed, purchase merchandise, and cover promotional costs.
Thanks to everyone who has already contributed to make this album happen by donating and spreading the word. By reaching $10,000, the raffle is officially ON. Anyone who donates or has donated to the Kickstarter fundraiser will be entered to win one of 10 exclusive prizes, including a personal phone call with Cassidy, any cover song of your choice recorded by Cassidy and sent to you as an mp3, and a collector's package of THE LOVERS merch. No amount is too small to be entered: even a $1 donation will get you entered into the raffle.
And now we move on to the third, ultimate goal of $15,000 to support Cassidy through the process of making the album so that he can fully focus on the album. Once that goal is reached, Cassidy will do a special "Truth or Dare" UStream with everyone who has donated to the fundraiser where he will answer all of your questions and do all of your dares (within legal limits, of course!).

Congratulations! You all reached the first goal of $7,000 in less than ONE DAY! That is absolutely amazing and something you should all be proud of. With that money, Cassidy will be able to set up his own home studio with the purchase of a new computer, software and recording equipment.
But we're not done yet: now we move on to the second tier of our goal and will be raising $10,000 to help raise promotion costs for THE LOVERS, including the printing of the CD and the creation of all new merchandise! We’re well on our way to the ultimate goal of $15,000 (and the Truth or Dare UStream).
Remember, once we hit the $10,000 goal, Cassidy will raffle off 10 exclusive prizes to randomly selected Kickstarter donors including a big and beautiful personalized painting, a phone call with Cassidy to discuss life and anything else you would like or even get a personal serenade, ANY cover song of your choice recorded by Cassidy Haley, mixed and delivered as an mp3, and a collector’s package of THE LOVERS merch similar to the THE FOOL and the THIS TIME collector’s packages. (yet to be created but sure to be awesome!). No amount is too small to be entered into the raffle, and every dollar counts! by donating anything to the campaign you are automatically entered, so all you have to do is promote the campaign and donate as little as a dollar!

Post CommentHello to all you generous people who donated to the Kickstarter campaign to raise money for The Fool’s release and promotion. The goal was met and then surpassed by more than $2,500. Thank you so much for your pledge! The fund raising exceeded my wildest dreams, and I can’t thank you enough for your support and belief in me and my music. I appreciate it more than you know.
We’re getting very close to July 13 when The Fool will be released. I can’t wait for you to hear the 13 songs. Writing and recording them was a labor of love and I’m so excited to share them with you.
I’m also excited to tell you that “Spindle,” the first single from The Fool, is now available on iTunes and CD Baby. You’ve already done so much to support me, and I hope you will continue to by buying “Spindle.” Share the links with your friends. Spread the word in blogs and forums that you visit. Create an email chain letter and ask people to pass it on. Make it viral in as many ways as you can.

Post CommentFirst off, I want to say thank you so much to my amazing Street Team and to everyone who donated to my Kickstarter Campaign. I never would have thought we would achieve the goal so quickly. I was completely shocked when I realized we had reached the goal in less than 48 hours!
But I shouldn't have been shocked. I should have known that my fans would do something as amazing as this. You guys never cease to amaze me with your love for me and my music. I am so incredibly blessed to have your support and dedication. You will never know how grateful I am.
I know this might sound crazy, but I have a feeling that we can "fly" even further. I think we can make $5,000 happen! There are so many costs involved with the promotion and production of this CD. One thousand CDs cost $1,000. I want to share The Fool with the world, and I know to do that we are going to need a lot more than one thousand CDs.So, what do you say? Can we make $5,000 happen?
Let's throw in a little game changer for some fun! How about the person whose donation gets us to $4,000 or above gets a signed lyric sheet of their choice? The person who gets us to $4,500 or above gets a "mystery package" full of goodies and a signed lyric sheet. And the person who makes the pledge that gets us to the final $5,000 mark will get the choice of having a song written about them by me or having me cover a song they'd like to hear! Does that sound good? Large donations are not required. If your $20 or $50 or whatever you donate kicks the total over one of the amounts above, that prize is yours.
Your support has been incredible, and I want you to know how much I appreciate each and every one of you. I can't wait to share The Fool with the world, and I am so grateful to have you come along with me on my journey.
