Hi Everyone! I signed a lease Yesterday!!! We have a space starting July 1st. We will have our unveiling and presenting the portraits to you sometime in mid to late July. There will be a little bit of construction to do before we can open the doors, but when we do hold on to you hat! It is not too late to submit a photo for your portrait. If you don't send a photo, your name will be affixed to a portrait of a random object. If you want to remain anonymous, just let me know and there will be a nameless object in your slot. We also got word yesterday that we are officially a federally recognized non-profit. That is great news as well. Thanks again for all of your support. until July, Joe

Posted project update #1Happy Holidays from Bughouse
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to give you guys an update. A couple of new potential spaces cropped up and they each have great potential. I would like to have a portrait unveiling party in February even if we don't have a space. So keep an eye for that. It's not too late to send me your photos, if you haven't already.
Thanks,
Joe

Posted project update #1Changing Project Address
Post CommentHello,
Thanks to everyone who has donated so far. We are continuing the project, but we are simplifying the rewards, changing the goal and adding a little extra time. In order to do that we have to actually create a new project site and cancel the old one. I know it is a hassle for those that have already pledged, but if you pledge the same amount to the new project you WILL NOT be charged twice.
This is a bit strange, I know, but it gives us a little flexibility.
Thanks for understanding.

Poorcraft means living well on less. I could fill a (comic) book with what I've learned about getting by on an artist's pay and liking it. And I will!
