Ken, All excellent points - a big thank you for reaching out on this. - SXSW was a leverage point for visibility, we just weren't prepared for the noise. - I thought a lot about celebs, but I was cautious (probably too much) to avoid damaging legitimacy/reputation by spamming peeps. If I'd had an in to build a connection and relationship first, IDK. PR for projects like this is probably the toughest. Thank you so much!

3 days to go and we're still pushing. I've complied a few updates below from the last couple of days on the trail, and I wanted to share.
Best news? We're winning the conversation by moving forward, so thank you for helping us gain momentum.

Posted project update #10We're Sponsoring "I Should Be Writing" - Episode #241
Post Commenti am convicted is sponsoring "I Should Be Writing," an awesome podcast by Mur Lafferty for aspiring fiction writers.
In episode #241, Mur interviews Scot Sigler, a NYT best-selling novelist and publishing box burner (one of the first, if not the first, to fully serialize a novel via podcast).
Great content, great podcast.

4 days remain, and Andy, Linda and I have been working every back channel imaginable to try and drum up additional support and spread our message.
Lots of people have been posting updates and sharing with their networks, so thank you again.
I'll have more updates soon!

Posted project update #8There is Always Hope
This was an early iteration of a sketch my wife created during an early brainstorm on our project.
One side of the tree represents light and truth, the other darkness. Andy's story has always represented the full spectrum of the human journey to me - both of his capacity for compassion, as well as the darker things that pulled him deeper into a life of crime.
We all have capacity for good and evil - no human is immune to this.
But we also have the power to reinvent - no matter how dark our journey's become ...

Ken, Thanks so much for supporting our project. I really resonate with what you're saying about the future can be different. Much of what pulled me to Andy was his representation of how powerful human transformation can be. Thanks for the support, for the insights, and for helping us be the change for others. I appreciate any and all sharing you feel comfortable doing. The more voices we can reach, the better the shot we have at this. Best of luck, Brett

Love the tree! Excited to see that the project is growing!
Thanks Joanne, we're moving for sure!
