Hello, BRAINLESS followers! Well, we're down to the last 24 hours of our attempt at fundraising, and while we didn't even get close to the mark, we all had a bit of fun, didn't we? I'd like to give a big thanks to those folks who pledged.
The bad news - BRAINLESS didn't get funded. The good news? I have other, cheaper projects in the works that we have a good shot at getting made.
And so, thanks to everyone for taking an interest in this project, and I'll see you in the pictures.

Well, we're 34 days away from our deadline and, so far, have $220 in pledges from some generous folks out of the $16,000 we need. Can we really reach our goal in a little over a month? Is it impossible?

Post CommentHello (insert your name here), I'm Justin Bastard Sane, director of such wonderful animated short subjects as Teddy Bears' Picnic and Eat the Johnsons - and hopefully the director of BRAINLESS!
First off, I'd like to thank our current backers for having enough faith in me to risk some of their cold, hard cash. Thanks, guys! You've gotten me one step closer to my dream of making a feature.
The only obstacle now is the other $15,780. Sounds like a lot, huh? Yeah, I know. But, think of all the horror fans out there. I know you're out there somewhere. People like me. People who love to see something done a bit differently in film.
You good people can help get this film made! By either pledging a few bucks, or spreading the word about us. We have puppets. Gore. Doll dismemberment. Brain removal. All of the things that will make a film great!
So please, look into your heart and ask it what it wants... and I'm sure it will reply "That gory doll movie to be made."
Have I begged yet? Okay, I'll beg now.
