Posted project update #3Fabric Shopping
So I went to Mood Fabrics last week and was able to get some good fabric swatches. I think I am going to stick to the primary colors as that is what most comic books back in the day used.
So the colors are: red, blue, silver and creme
I scanned the swatches but as with most scanners you can not see the detail of the textiles nor are the colors accurate but you get the picture ;-)
A few of the swatches have a sheen to them. I tried my best to get cotton based fabrics and some breathable synthetic blends. Take a look at the swatches and tell me which ones you like best. I am leaning towards 4 different fabrics since it is a 10 piece collection.
Also the audio in the video is a bit messed up I know but that is the best that I can do with windows movie maker. I hope to begin working on the actual sketches in a few weeks so I will update you all on that later...

Posted project update #2Weekend Photoshoot
Post CommentI was able to video some behind the scenes footage of my recent photoshoot I did with JH Hwang photogrpahy! It was a lot of fun, the theme was a tale from "Clash of the Titans" a MEDUSA story.
It was something new and different than what I normally do. The shoot was not part of my S/S 2011 collection but once the photos are out I may be able to use them to promote for London Fashion Week.
