I'm one of the $2 freeloaders, so I can still look down my nose at those $1 freeloaders! I kid, I kid. I fully expected to pay a lot more than $2, and knew that I could up my bid when it came time to figure out how close we were as a group to the $50,000. I figured it was more important to reserve my spot now, since the limiting factor was 3,000 people, and then figure out later: A) What I can afford to pay, and B) what the fair price is based on the goal the group is shooting for.
