Posted project update #6BBOX Radio: The Early Years (A Photographic Retrospective)
Post CommentThe Kickstarter for BBOX Radio winds down and we keep the hits coming!
Tonight, BBOX presented the work of photographer Andrew Piccone at Frontrunner Gallery in TriBeCa.

Tomorrow, we close out our Kickstarter with the Shine On Party at Mo's Fort Greene. We hope to see those of you in the area, there!
We're still short of our goal by about $3,500 but have made great progress the last couple days. We hope with one more big event we can get over the $15k mark.
Thank you to everyone who's supported BBOX Radio over the past month. We're so glad you're here and we have much more in store!

Posted project update #5The Final Countdown
Time is running short for the BBOX Radio Kickstarter and we still have a little ways to go to reach our goal. We made some strides today, though, with the EVERYTHING ALWAYS GOOD TIMES PARTY, which showed what BBOX can do as a radio station and live venue. Six bands, six DJs, the live stream up and running... it was a terrific day.
Chiptune artist, Peter Swimm, rising New Zealand stars, Princess Chelsea, Brooklyn's own The Steamboat Disasters... Freeform radio, baby. What you dig is what you hear. (Think something like that's on a t-shirt somewhere...)
And, of course, we had BBOX's own shows holding things down, with the likes of Unicorn Pudding, Afrika21, Radio Rhythm, and House Rules all making appearances. Oh, what's that? You want to hear from these cats? Well check out the new and improved BBOX Radio website, where you can pull up the archives of BBOX Radio programming and hear what's been going on.
Thanks for all the support so far, and, please, spread the word in these last couple days.

Posted project update #48 Days Left for BBOX Kickstarter!
Post CommentThe end is near!
We have some work left to do to reach our goal here at the BBOX Radio Kickstarter, so we're going to close out with a HUGE PARTY. We hope those in the area will join us for BBOX Radio's EVERYTHING GOOD TIMES ALWAYS PARTY this Sunday, October 16th at BBOX Radio. Take a look at the band and DJ lineup on the event page, we have GREAT music planned for everyone!

Follow the link to our Facebook event page and, if you're in the area, please come out and join us for an awesome day with bands, DJs, and much more, like, Cuzin's Duzin, maker of only the best donuts on earth supporting the BBOX Radio Kickstarter by generously "dough-nating" the proceeds from ALL DONUT SALES between 3pm and 7pm to the BBOX Radio Kickstarter.
There was a HUGE event last night at the DeKalb Market, Brooklyn Night Bazaar (pictured above), with what must have been 2000+ people coming through in the course of the night. We were thrilled to have DJ Ambush, affiliate of BBOX Radio's "The ZRO Hour," spin to about 800 dancin' fools to close out the evening. It made us all the more excited fro this Sunday, so we hope to see you there!
There is more to come in the final days of our Kickstarter! Stay tuned...
