Posted project update #4San Diego madness / Your signed copies of the books go out this week!
Hello those-who-made-it-possible,
Just a quick update letting you all know that signed copies of "The Villain" original graphic novel will go out this week! We got the print run about an hour in to Preview Night (this past Wednesday) at Comic Con, but even though UPS cut is close and made us sweat it out, the books arrived, and folks? They look AWESOME!!! We sold a ton, and now that we're back expect incentives to start rolling in ASAP. Pat is working up the sketches right now, I'll be dropping off the books with the post office this week, and I'll start emailing backers (I'll send a PDF) about the character design pages in the order the pledges were received. Sketchbook PDF will also go out ASAP.
Thanks again for your support, ladies and gentlemen! We had a blast doing the Kickstarter panel (see pic), and cannot thank you enough for making it possible!!!

I've been working on this about 10 hours a day to get it done and as of yesterday - it is. The book came out great and I am converting pages to print files and uploading to press tonight. We will make it just in time for San Diego Comic-Con.

I am humbled and thrilled to announce that as of this morning we hit our funding goal. Translation? The Villain: An Original Graphic Novel is going to press for San Diego Comic Con International, and it is 100% because of you.
Thank you.
This would not be possible without your pledges, viral support, and word-of-mouth assistance. It is that simple, and Pat and I cannot thank you, and Kickstarter for allowing us this wonderful opportunity, enough. Pat has been sending me pages and new character designs on an almost daily basis and we think you're going to like the results. I'll be posting updates with even more character designs very soon.
This process has really served as a reminder of just what a privilege it is to be a part of the comics community. The support we have received from fans, friends, the media, and even some established creators has been staggering. You guys and gals are the best, and we promise to deliver a product worthy of your support.
